How to Play Tango
The goal: fill every cell with a Sun ☀️ or a Moon 🌙 so the whole 6×6 grid obeys four simple rules. It takes about 30 seconds to learn and is always solvable by pure logic.
Three and three
Each row and column holds exactly three suns and three moons.
No three in a row
Never three identical symbols in a line — across or down.

Cells joined by = must match; cells joined by × must differ.

Tango Strategy: How to Solve Faster
Tango is won by deduction, never luck. These techniques crack almost every board.
1. Play the = and × chains first
A run of = signs forces a whole block of identical symbols; an × always splits a pair. Resolve the signed pairs before anything else — they're the free moves.
2. Avoid the triple
Two identical symbols side by side force the opposite symbol on both ends. Likewise, a gap between two matching symbols must be filled with the opposite to avoid three in a row.
3. Count to three
Once a row or column already has three suns, every remaining cell must be a moon (and vice-versa). Track the count on each line as you go.
4. Use the whole line
When only one arrangement of the remaining cells avoids a triple and keeps the balance, it's forced — even before you've filled a single neighbour.
